There are over 500,000 apps available online so it can be very overwhelming and tough to sort out the good and the bad.  Believe it or not - there are apps that involve virtual zippers, fake office noises so you can nap at work and apps that even claim to actually melt your fat.  Despite all the silliness, there are some apps that actually give back to the world.

Phospho is a handy app gives back as well.  It is just a basic flashlight that shines from the screen to light a dark area.  It has a number of different lights that it can shine it shines. It certainly comes in handy when the electricity goes out or you can’t get to your nearest flashlight or candle.  100% of the proceeds from Phospho are donated to charities dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of blindness in children and adults worldwide.  They’ve already raised 2,400 dollars.  Sounds like a win win situation to us.
